February 4th is the Feast of St. Andrew Corsini, Carmelite friar and Bishop of Fiesole. Known as the Apostle of Florence, he is invoked against civil disturbances and riots. In celebration, we’re posting a prayer to St. Andrew Corsini. The accompanying photo comes courtesy of Father Eugene Carrella. Prayer to St. Andrew Corsini
O God, in every age You manifest in Your Church new examples of virtue; grant that Your people may so follow in the footsteps of blessed Andrew, Your confessor and bishop, that they may obtain also his reward. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
