As far as I am concerned, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Annual Angel Tree and Neapolitan Baroque Crèche installation is still the best Christmas tree and Nativity scene in New York City, bar none. And yes, that includes Rockefeller Center’s magnificent Norway spruce. On view until 7 January 2024, the 20-foot blue spruce and its splendid array of 18th-century figures from Naples is a must-see when visiting the Big Apple. Buon Natale!
