Last weekend (Sept. 27th–28th), members of the Società Santa Fortunata di New York celebrated the Feast of Santa Fortunata, beloved patroness of Baucina, Sicily. The two day celebration, full of pomp and pageantry, began at the society clubhouse (7701 17th Ave.) in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, and culminated with Mass at Regina Pacis Church (1230 65th St.) on Sunday. Thank you Ciro Quattrocchi and all the members of the Santa Fortunata Society for your hard work and dedication. As always, you did a magnificent job; it was an honor and a privilege to celebrate with you. Evviva Santa Fortunata!
