Alleluia! Cristo è Risorto! Easter Sunday, we celebrated a solemn and beautiful Traditional Latin High Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

For dinner, the ladies outdid themselves again with another lavish multi-course meal, culminating with perfectly grilled lamb chops (agnello alla scottadito). Alas, I lost all interest in taking pictures during the antipasti and simply enjoyed the food, wine, and company.

After dinner, we played a few games of chess and exchanged our Easter baskets. In addition to colorful eggs and chocolates, my basket had a copy of poet Joseph S. Salemi's Steel Masks (White Violet Press, 2012).
