Naples in Paris: The Louvre Hosts the Museo di Capodimonte (Naples à Paris: Le Louvre Invite Le Musée de Capodimonte)

Our confratello vacationing in Paris recently visited the Louvre to view the ongoing exhibit Naples à Paris and was kind enough to share his photos with us. Featuring some 60 major masterpieces from the Museo di Capodimonte in Naples, the installation includes dramatic works from Caravaggio, Guido Reni and Annibale Carracci, not to mention famed representatives from the Neapolitan School: Jusepe de Ribera, Francesco Guarino and Mattia Preti. The remarkable exhibit runs until 8 January 2024.
