On Friday, April 26th, at 7:00 PM, the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George (SMOCSG) will host their Investiture Weekend Welcoming Reception at The Belvedere Club (79 Howard Ave., Staten Island) - a lovely Italianate mansion and private club on Staten Island with stunning views overlooking Manhattan.
On Saturday, April 27th, the SMOCSG will hold their Investiture Mass at 1:00 PM at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (22 Barclay St., NYC), New York State’s oldest Catholic church, and one founded with a generous donation from their late Grand Master King Carlo III, King of the Two Sicilies.
After Mass, the SMOCSG will reconvene at 7:00 PM for the Constantinian Gala Dinner, which will be held in the handsome Broad Street Ballroomm(41 Broad St., NYC) in Lower Manhattan’s Financial District.
On Sunday, April 28th, the SMOCSG will arrive at 10:00 AM to celebrate Solemn Mass in the Extraordinary Form at the Pontifical Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmelm (448 E 116th St., NYC) in East Harlem. After Mass they will rededicate the Shrine’s bell tower, which was recently restored through the charitable support of the Delegation, in honor of Blessed Maria Cristina, former Queen of the Two Sicilies.
It also gives us great pleasure to share with you the names of those fine men and women who will be invested into the growing Delegation this year.
