Last night I joined members of the San Rocco Society of Potenza for the first novena to Saint Rocco at Most Precious Blood Church in Manhattan’s Little Italy. Due to the August 1st closing of St. Joseph’s Church, the Feast of San Rocco has a new home at Most Precious Blood Church, located at 113 Baxter Street, New York, NY. The 126th Annual Feast of San Rocco will be celebrated on Sunday, August 16th. Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon and the procession will begin at about 1:30 PM. Afterward, there will be delicious food and live Neapolitan music by Marcantonio Pezzano in the undercroft (church basement). For more information visit www.stroccosociety.com
