Sunday, hundreds of devotees from around the tri-state area converged on Bensonhurst, Brooklyn for the Sixth Annual Feast of the Madonna Addolorata at Saint Athanasius Church. Celebrants made their way through the neighborhood singing hymns and invoking the Blessed Mother's intercession and protection.

Sponsored by the Associazione Culturale Pugliese Figli Maria S.S. Addolorata, the celebration was a grand expression of faith and devotion in our Celestial Mother, Our Lady of Sorrows, patroness of Mola di Bari.

As always, President Lucrezia Nardulli and society members deserve our thanks and praise for their hard work and dedication. They do an incredible job preserving our Southern Italian culture and traditions.
