San Gennaro, ora pro nobis |
Opening Night of the Feast of San Gennaro
Thursday afternoon, some friends and I visited the Feast of San Gennaro in Manhattan's historic Little Italy. While there, we stopped by the outdoor shrine on Mulberry Street to make a donation and offer our prayers. |

Another Startling Discovery
During a day trip up north, I came across a bronze statue of the famed Fascist general and aviator Italo Balbo (1896-1940). I am genuinely surprised by how many pro-fascist discoveries we make in our travels.
