Ernie Rossi proudly showing off his new plaque |
Monday evening, our esteemed Delegate HE Cav. John M. Viola presented Ernie Rossi of E.Rossi & Company (193 Grand St.) in Little Italy, New York, a beautiful plaque emblazoned with the Coat of Arms of Royal House of Bourbon–Two Sicilies on behalf of HRH Prince Carlo di Borbone–Due Sicilie, Duke of Castro. The honor was bestowed to Mr. Rossi in recognition of his efforts to share the history and culture of the Two Sicilies through the many products he carries in his store. |

The Prince discovered Ernie’s shop back in September of this year while inspecting the fairgrounds of the Feast of San Gennaro during the Royal Family’s visit to Little Italy. Spotting a window display with t-shirts and Argenio Napoli products bearing the royal coat-of-arms, the Prince couldn’t resist visiting the shop and meeting the proprietor. Fondly recalling the warmth and hospitality offered by Mr. Rossi during that chance encounter, Prince Carlo conferred upon him this sincere token of gratitude.Originally posted in The Constantinian Chronicle
