Tulsa King in Little Italy

From Grand to Broome Streets, it looks like September on Mulberry St.
No stranger to film sets, we New Yorkers encounter street closures and behind-the-scenes activity all the time. So, when I wandered down Mulberry Street in Little Italy today and came across the recreation of the Feast of San Gennaro for an episode of Tulsa King starring Sylvester Stallone, I didn’t think much of it. While I never get star-struck (my celebrity crushes are a different matter), I was taken aback by the excitement and buzz among my colleagues at the chance of spotting Stallone. Their enthusiasm prompted me to step outside again and snap a few photos for the blog.

Though I'm familiar with some of Sly's earlier films, that is to say, Rocky (1976) and First Blood (1982), I'm not well-acquainted with this series. After a quick online search, I learned that Tulsa King is a popular American crime drama set in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and available for streaming on Paramount+. Aside from the Godfather trilogy and My Blue Heaven, I'm not really a fan of the Mafia genre. Honestly, I've yet to see a single episode of The Sopranos or Gomorrah, so unless they happen to discover me and offer me a role, I don’t plan on watching it anytime soon.
For a more authentic feel, they're going to need a lot more garbage on the floor
