Craco Per Bimbi

Reprinted from the March 2016 Craco Society Bulletin
The Society is proud to announce a new publication that is aimed at getting the story of Craco to our youngest generation.
Craco per bimbi (Craco for Children) was originally drafted by Vincenzo Rinaldi in 2007 with the intention of creating a children’s book about the history of Craco. He was kind enough to pass it to The Craco Society with wishes that it be produced.
We are indebted to Vincenzo for his kindness in sharing this work with us and our children.
His unique sketches make the story lively and interesting and have been reproduced as provided by him. The Italian text was also preserved and an English translation was added. The addition of the English text required some formatting changes from the original but every effort was made to keep the integrity of Enzo’s original content for future generations.
This seventeen page book contains illustrations or Enzo’s original drawings on almost every page. The illustrations, in black and white, allow this to serve as a coloring book too, enabling the youngest readers to express their impressions of Craco.
The book is embedded in the online electronic version of the newsletter and can be accesses by double clicking on it.
Copies can also be requested in PDF format or in a printed version by contacting us by email at: memberservices@thecracosociety.org or by calling 774-269-6611.
